Gary Houtz Benefit Fund
At the end of May, Gary Houtz, a renowned tatting teacher, was involved in a head-on collision. He survived the accident but his recovery will take quite some time. To help Gary with expenses not covered by insurance, DS9Designs will contribute 10% of all sales during the month of July to the Benefit Fund established for Gary at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union, 15 Bodo Dr, Durango, CO 81301.
All Valdani hand-dyed pearl cotton thread is 100% colorfast. It is soft with silky luster and is slightly thicker than DMC pearl cotton. A Valdani Size 8 is comparable to a size 5 in other brands. Thread is from Romania and comes in approximately 67 meter balls.
Customers have requested I stock size 8 Valdani pearl cotton. This is the start of the collection. I will add more colors as profit allows.
