Okra Tatting Pattern

Updated 10/25/04

This project, though small, is challenging and you will probably hate this design! When I taught this at Palmetto Tatters' Tat-Day in June, 2004, my class and I named this "The pattern from hell!". Lots of techniques are crammed into this 110 double stitch project.

okra When tatted with size 20 thread, the okra measures about 3/4 inch across.

Requires 2 shuttles. I would not recommend this pattern to needle tatters unless you are very experienced.

Techniques used: Twisted picots, tatting on picots (uses 2nd half of split ring method), encapsulating thread, lock stitch.

Pattern Price: $2.50
