| I entered this in a miscellaneous hand knitting category. However, 5 knitted lace doilies were entered this year, so they made a knitted doily class. I took 1st and Best of Show for Hand Knitting/Crocheting Not Clothing category. Pattern is from a Spanish publication Muestras y Motivos Tricot Hogar No. 1. |

These are my crocheted items. I entered the rose piece under table runner and took 3rd place. The blue and white doily (turkish thread simli with silver metallic) in large crocheted doilies and took 2nd. The pastel yellow doily was in the small crocheted doilies and took 1st. The rose table runner pattern is from a Leisure Arts little book Delightful Doilies, #75024 with modifications. The blue and white doily is from a Dover Publication Treasury of Pineapple Designs for Crocheting, Ed Linda Macho, ISBN 0-486-24494-6. The yellow doily is a Patricia Kristoffersen pattern from Leisure Arts' The Best of Patricia Kristoffersen, #3261. |
