Gary Houtz Benefit Fund
At the end of May, Gary Houtz, a renowned tatting teacher, was involved in a head-on collision. He survived the accident but his recovery will take quite some time. To help Gary with expenses not covered by insurance, DS9Designs will contribute 10% of all sales during the month of July to the Benefit Fund established for Gary at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union, 15 Bodo Dr, Durango, CO 81301.
This is a great little travel container for beads and/or tatting. Closed, it measures just under 4 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall. Upon opening, you will find 6 compartments, each with their own lid. I have had no problems with delica seed beads or jump rings spilling from compartment to compartment. The side of each compartment is rounded, making bead removal easy.
All compartments measure about 0.5 inches deep. Interior dimensions of the large compartment is 3.25 inches long and 2 inches wide. It can hold a Clover tatting shuttle, very short-handled crochet hook and a 2.25 inch Big Eye beading needle. The smallest compartments are about 1 inch by 1 inch. Medium compartments are about 1.5 inches by 1 inch.
Colors: fuchsia, green, dark blue, dark blue with silver sparkles, green with silver sparkles, and fuchsia with silver sparkles.
